From funny hand-drawn characters to more sustainable production, this blog shares the story behind the designs and the inspiration behind the brand. \ud83c\udf0a\u270f\ufe0f\u267b\ufe0f","content":"<p><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman';\">Heyyy, I\u2019m Tilly \u2014 a 13 year old artist, traveller, and massive ocean lover who somehow turned doodling silly sea creatures into a whole clothing brand. Over the past 16 months, I\u2019ve travelled across 10 different countries, spending loads of time around beaches, islands, boats, and incredible marine life. Somewhere between snorkelling trips, sketchbooks full of fish, and becoming slightly obsessed with marine biology, I realised I wanted to create something of my own inspired by everything I loved most. Around 10 months ago, I decided to start turning my drawings into wearable designs and build a brand around fun, creativity, and ocean life.<\/span><\/p><p><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman';\">One thing I knew from the start was that I didn\u2019t want my designs to feel boring, plain, or overly serious. I wanted them to have personality. A lot of clothing can feel repetitive, so I started creating hand-drawn designs that were funny, chaotic, and different \u2014 like sharks sunbathing in fish tanks, shrimp working in diners, ducks snorkelling underwater, and seahorses racing each other. I love making designs that feel playful and make people smile, while still being something you can actually wear every day. Every design starts as a drawing and is inspired by my travels, ocean life, funny ideas, and the little moments that stick in my brain for no reason.<\/span><\/p><p><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman';\">Protecting the ocean is also a huge part of why I wanted to do this properly. Since so much of my inspiration comes from the sea, it felt important to create my products in a more environmentally friendly way too. My clothing is made using organic and recycled materials, and produced in renewable energy powered factories using more sustainable methods. I wanted to build something creative that also reflects the places and wildlife that inspired it in the first place.
